Would you like to meet your sponsored child? We welcome you. Visiting Uganda is a wonderful experience. You will see the child, meet their family, visit the school, and share a meal. It will change your life.
We are a small foundation, but we will help you prepare. We can advise on visas, vaccinations, and travel. You do not have to plan alone.

We will arrange a safe meeting place and provide a local guide if needed. You pay your own travel and accommodation, but there is no extra fee for the visit.
How to arrange a visit
Contact us at least two months before your planned travel. We will coordinate with the child’s family and the school. We will send you a short guide with practical tips.

- Consider visiting the Ugandan Martyrs Shrine
- Please do not give large cash gifts directly – give through us to ensure fairness
OKWAGALA For Children began in 2024. We are still small, still growing. We are not yet registered, but we are working on it. Every sponsor is part of our family. If you wish to visit your sponsored child, let us know – we will do our best to arrange it.
