Adopt a Nun

Adopt a nun in Uganda

Religious sisters in Uganda run schools, clinics, and orphanages. Many need further training to serve better. OKWAGALA helps sponsors “adopt a nun” by funding her professional education.

Your gift of any amount goes into our account, then to the congregation or school. The sister receives training in teaching, nursing, social work, or other skills.

Program benefits for nuns

Your support provides tuition, books, supplies, living expenses, and transport. One educated sister serves thousands during her lifetime – a true gift that keeps giving.
