Regina lost her long time sponsor and is in great need of a new sponsor to continue with her education.
Regina lives with her mother who has a right limbs disability and has no permanent home but is sheltered by a relative who sometimes sends them away and other times accepts them to stay, usually after the mother does garden work for a good person. The mother and her two children live by working in people's gardens for food and shelter, and she is fine with the situation as long as her children attend school with HOPE that when the children get a good education, they will be well and can help her out of the situation.
Her father left her when the mother was pregnant with Regina after suggesting an abortion, which Regina's mother rejected and kept the pregnancy, giving birth to a baby girl – and here Regina is, not knowing the whereabouts of the father until now. Because the father wasn't around to give Regina a surname, the mother gave her Kirabo, which means "gift", and she takes Regina as a gift from God.
It is unfortunate that Regina's sponsor couldn't continue sponsoring her due to financial difficulties, putting Regina at risk of not reaching her dream of becoming a midwife in the future. She is now in need of a sponsor who will continue her in school.
